The final medical procedure undergone by Nigerian content creator Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo in Bangkok has come under renewed scrutiny after the cosmetic clinic involved disclosed details of his treatment to Thai investigators.
Tiny, a Nigerian influencer who lived in London, died in March 2026, less than a day after undergoing a penis enlargement procedure involving hyaluronic acid filler injections.
His death has since triggered an investigation by Thai health authorities, with officials seeking to establish whether the clinic followed the required medical and professional standards.
What happened before his death
According to inquest records from Westminster Coroner’s Court, Tiny underwent the procedure on March 5.
Several hours later, he reportedly developed chest pains before collapsing.
He was taken to a local hospital, where doctors planned to conduct a CT scan. However, he lost consciousness before the examination could be completed.
Medical personnel reportedly performed CPR for 101 minutes, but Tiny could not be revived. He was pronounced dead at 1:05 a.m. on March 6.
An autopsy and toxicology investigation later linked his death to complications involving the hyaluronic acid injection and a pulmonary embolism.
Clinic says Tiny had undergone five procedures
Fresh details provided by the clinic indicate that Tiny was not a first-time patient at the facility.
The management reportedly told investigators that he had been receiving treatment there since 2024 and had undergone five penile enlargement injections.
The clinic said the doctor involved in his final treatment had advised him to divide the March 5 procedure into two separate sessions.
Tiny, however, reportedly requested that the treatment be completed in one session.
The clinic also told investigators that he signed a consent form before each treatment and received instructions on the necessary aftercare.
According to the facility, Tiny had not previously complained of complications following his earlier procedures.
Thai authorities launch investigation
The revelations come as Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health investigates the circumstances surrounding Tiny’s death.
The ministry announced on September 7 that Minister Pattana Phromphat had ordered the Department of Health Service Support (DHSS) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to examine the case.
Officials subsequently inspected the clinic to assess its compliance with medical requirements and professional standards.
DHSS Director-General Phuwadet Surakot said the name of the clinic would not be made public at this stage.

He also disclosed that an emergency medical centre had been contacted by a private Bangkok hospital to send an ambulance for an unconscious patient.
Questions surrounding the procedure
The investigation is now expected to establish whether the treatment was administered in accordance with Thailand’s medical regulations and professional guidelines.
Authorities will also examine the clinic’s procedures, documentation and compliance with relevant standards as they piece together the events leading to Tiny’s death.
For now, the clinic maintains that Tiny was informed of the doctor’s recommendation to split the treatment into two sessions, but chose to have it completed at once.
The findings of the Thai investigation could determine whether any further action is warranted against the facility or medical personnel involved.
