Nigerian street-hop artist Portable has stirred fresh buzz by throwing a bold challenge at heavyweight boxing star Anthony Joshua, declaring he would step into the ring with him—for the right price.

Speaking during a lively pre-fight appearance ahead of his scheduled celebrity bout with streamer Carter Efe, Portable claimed he would be willing to face Joshua if offered ₦1 billion.
The singer, known for his outspoken personality, doubled down on his confidence, portraying himself as a dominant force in Nigeria’s growing celebrity boxing scene.
According to him, no one can take his “belt,” as he continues to brand himself the face of the sport locally. “Bring ₦1 billion, and I’ll take him down,” he boasted while addressing the crowd.
Portable is set to square off against Carter Efe in an exhibition fight scheduled for Friday at Balmoral Hall inside the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The matchup has already generated significant attention, fueled by both personalities’ strong online followings and public rivalry.
Earlier this year, Portable disclosed he earned ₦40 million just for agreeing to fight Carter Efe.
He also revealed additional incentives tied to the outcome, including promises of ₦50 million and a car from businessman E-Money and music executive Soso Soberekon if he secures victory.
Carter Efe, meanwhile, stated that he accepted the fight under the condition that the winner would take home ₦50 million.
Portable’s involvement in celebrity boxing has become a recurring theme in his career.
