Popular Nigerian TikTok stars Peller and Jarvis have sparked fresh drama online after engaging in a heated livestream argument over Peller’s claim that he and Jarvis should act as parents to her younger sister.

What began as a disagreement over family responsibilities quickly escalated into an exchange about boundaries, personal authority and who has the right to decide another person’s future.
During the livestream, Peller insisted that his age qualified him to assume a fatherly role in the life of Jarvis’ younger sister, arguing that he and Jarvis should jointly guide her decisions, including the choice of a future husband.
Jarvis, however, strongly rejected the suggestion, questioning why Peller was involving himself in her sister’s affairs when the young woman already had a father and a family capable of guiding her.
The disagreement intensified as both creators defended their positions, with Jarvis eventually urging Peller to leave her sister out of their conversations and concentrate on their own child.
‘I’m Her Father, You Are Her Mother’ — Peller
Explaining his position during the livestream, Peller argued that he and Jarvis occupied parental roles in the younger woman’s life because of their ages and relationship with her.
The 21-year-old content creator suggested that, as an older person, he had a responsibility to guide her and believed that he and Jarvis should have a say in important decisions concerning her future.
“Babe, listen, I’m her father and you are her mother. Your sister is a child. I’m older than her. Me, 21 years. In Lagos, we are her father and mother. We are the ones that will pick a husband for her. Let’s say I have a big stature and I’m 30 years old. If I say I’m a father to your sister,” Peller said.
His remarks did not sit well with Jarvis, who challenged the idea that being older automatically gave him parental authority over her younger sister.
For Jarvis, the issue was not simply about Peller offering advice. She appeared particularly unhappy with what she considered his attempt to dictate the young woman’s choices and pressure her into participating in livestreams.
Jarvis Pushes Back: ‘What Concerns You With My Sister?’
Jarvis responded by reminding Peller that her younger sister already had a father and questioning why he believed he had the right to assume that position.
She maintained that she was better placed to advise her sibling and insisted that Peller should not attempt to force the young woman to appear on livestreams if she was unwilling to do so.
“What concerns you with my sister? Leave her alone. It’s me that will tell her what to do. You cannot force her to come on live. Leave her alone, it’s not her calling,” Jarvis said.
Her response shifted the argument from Peller’s claimed fatherly role to the question of personal boundaries, particularly whether family relationships give someone the right to make decisions on another person’s behalf.
Jarvis also made it clear that she did not want her younger sister dragged into disagreements between herself and Peller.
‘You Want Me to Mention Your Brother?’
As the argument grew more intense, Jarvis brought Peller’s own family into the discussion, challenging him to consider how he would feel if she claimed authority over his younger brother.
She questioned whether he would accept her describing herself as the boy’s mother or insisting that she had the right to determine aspects of his life.
“Babe, stop this thing, or you want me to mention your brother? You want me to say that I’m taking care of your brother, that I’m the mother to your brother?” she asked.
The exchange added another layer to the disagreement, with Jarvis effectively asking Peller to apply the same standard to his own family that he was proposing for hers.
She also rejected his suggestion that they should have the final say in choosing her sister’s future husband.
Turning the argument back on him, Jarvis questioned whether her own family would have selected Peller as her partner if they had been responsible for making that decision.
“Do you think if my family wanted to pick a man for me, do you think they would pick you?” she asked.
The remark underscored her objection to the idea that family members should automatically have the power to determine whom another adult should marry.
Jarvis Tells Peller to Focus on Their Own Child
With the disagreement continuing, Jarvis made a direct appeal for her younger sister to be removed from the conversation.
She argued that Peller should concentrate on their own child rather than becoming involved in what she described as the affairs of another adult.
“Please, can we take my sister out of this conversation? With all due respect, focus on your own child. You are concerned about another adult. Leave my sister out of the picture, please,” she added.
Her statement appeared to draw a clear line between supporting a family member and assuming control over that person’s decisions.

While Peller maintained that his intentions were rooted in a desire to guide Jarvis’ younger sister, Jarvis remained opposed to his approach.
Peller Fears Jarvis Could Encourage Disrespect
Peller, however, was not convinced by Jarvis’ argument.
He maintained that her response could encourage her younger sister to disrespect him, suggesting that the way Jarvis handled the matter might affect how the young woman viewed his position in the family.
“Na you go make that girl to start disrespecting me,” he said before telling Jarvis to leave the call.
The livestream argument has brought attention to the tension between family involvement and personal independence, particularly when relatives or partners believe they have a responsibility to guide someone else’s choices.
At the heart of the disagreement is a question that extends beyond the two social media personalities: where does genuine concern for a younger family member end, and where does interference begin?
While older siblings and relatives can offer advice and support, the debate also raises questions about consent, autonomy and whether good intentions are enough to justify taking authority over another person’s life.
For Peller and Jarvis, however, the conversation ended not with an agreement over their respective roles, but with a sharp disagreement over who should have the final say in Jarvis’ younger sister’s affairs.
