Real Madrid manager José Mourinho has praised Kylian Mbappé after the French forward produced a stunning hat-trick in Los Blancos’ victory over Real Sociedad.

Speaking to the club’s official website after the match, Mourinho described Mbappé’s current form as “stratospheric” and said the 27-year-old is showing a strong desire to leave a lasting legacy at the Santiago Bernabéu.
“This guy is incredible,” Mourinho said.
The Portuguese manager said Mbappé’s ambition goes beyond simply scoring goals, highlighting the forward’s willingness to contribute to the team’s overall attacking play.
Mourinho noted that Mbappé frequently drops into deeper positions to help create chances and combine with his teammates, rather than waiting for opportunities to arrive in the box.
“Kylian has a lot of ability. He doesn’t wait for the team to play to score; he drops deep to create opportunities, plays a one-two with Jude for the goal… he has a lot of quality,” he said.
The Real Madrid boss also stressed the importance of teamwork, arguing that even the best individual players must adapt their game to help their teams function effectively.

According to Mourinho, Mbappé has shown that quality by combining his individual brilliance with a willingness to contribute to the collective effort.
“Obviously, Kylian had his own game, but everyone played very well,” he added.
Mourinho said Mbappé’s current level is making Real Madrid an even more dangerous side, with the France international continuing to strengthen his reputation as one of the leading players in world football.
The hat-trick against Real Sociedad further underlined Mbappé’s influence, as the forward continues his push to make history during his time at the Bernabéu.
