Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, has pledged that his administration will take firm action against the alleged rise of same-sex activities in the state, warning that such conduct will not be tolerated under his leadership.

The governor made the remarks during a visit to Mubi in northern Adamawa, where he reiterated his government’s commitment to enforcing existing laws while upholding the cultural and social values of the state.

Fintiri said his administration remains focused on promoting standards that reflect the traditions and beliefs of the people, stressing that social issues would be addressed strictly through lawful means.

Governor Calls for Collective Responsibility on Moral Guidance

The governor also called on parents, religious leaders, and traditional rulers to intensify efforts in guiding young people and strengthening moral discipline within communities.
