In a statement released on Friday, the former Adamawa State commissioner revealed that his decision came after an extensive period of consultations with political stakeholders, community leaders, supporters, and residents across the district.

Adamu explained that although many supporters had long urged him to enter the race, he deliberately took time to evaluate the calls and reflect carefully before making his move public.

According to him, the consistent encouragement from constituents and the growing demand for effective and people-focused leadership ultimately persuaded him to step into the contest.

He said the level of trust and confidence shown by people across Adamawa South convinced him that the district desires experienced, purposeful, and inclusive representation at the National Assembly.

The senatorial aspirant described the purchase of the ADC nomination form as the official start of his mission to represent the district in the Senate, pledging his commitment to serving the interests of the people.

Adamu further portrayed his ambition as more than a personal political project, saying it reflects a broader collective aspiration for unity, development, and stronger representation across Adamawa South.

He stressed that the movement is rooted in the shared hopes of the people and expressed confidence that, with public support, the campaign would continue to grow with determination and a common sense of purpose.
