Two FAAN Staffs Crushed Dead In Lagos Trailer Accident

The Federal Airport of Nigeria, FAAN, is mourning two of it’s staff, who died in a reckless trailer accident, when a 20-feet container fell on the commercial bus they were both in, at Ilasamaja on the Oshodi-Badagry Expressway in Lagos state.

The accident happened on Sunday, July 27, two people were killed and three others were seriously injured.

Identity of the victims crushed to death where revealed as a 27-year-old woman, Chidinma Ajoku.

While the second casualty is her colleague, Chima Nnaekpe, 29.

Chidinma and Chima both worked in the Commercial Department, Hajj & Cargo Terminal, at the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

They were on their way home from work when the truck, with number plate, SGM 715 XA, loaded with a 20ft container, fell on the commercial bus they were both in.

In a viral video, Chidinma’s mother pleaded with the Lagos State Government to ensure that no one dies unnecessarily like her daughter did because of reckless tanker drivers on our roads.
