The funds, according to the organisers, are specifically intended for the purchase of the presidential nomination form of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The initiative was described as a bold declaration of confidence in the President’s leadership and reform-driven agenda.

The donation was officially handed over at the party’s National Headquarters in Abuja during a visit by a delegation from Kogi State.

The team was led by Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and received by the APC National Chairman, Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, at a brief ceremony held at the party secretariat.

Address To Party Officials

Addressing party officials, Governor Ododo said the contribution reflects strong grassroots backing for the President, particularly among young people.

He noted that the donation demonstrates the faith Kogi youths have in Tinubu’s vision for national development and their willingness to see him serve another term.

According to him, the gesture sends a clear signal that young Nigerians in the state are aligned with the administration’s policies and reforms, especially in areas such as infrastructure expansion, security improvements, and economic revitalisation.

In his response, the APC National Chairman praised the youths for what he described as a voluntary and patriotic effort.

He said the move highlights increasing political awareness and active participation among young citizens, adding that the show of support is encouraging for the party’s future prospects.

”No Need For Additional Fundraising”

He further remarked that with the ₦100 million already raised for the nomination form, there would be no need for additional fundraising for that purpose.

Representatives of the youth groups explained that the funds were mobilised through coordinated community contributions and grassroots fundraising campaigns across the state.

They emphasised that the initiative was driven by widespread enthusiasm for the administration’s ongoing reforms and a shared desire to sustain them beyond 2027.
