The Social media is pretty amazing when properly used. As one can connect with old friends, make new ones, as well as have haters.
Celebrities interacting with fans on social media, is one of the greatest things ever!
But when the same celebs can’t hold their peace and decide to engage with their fans using hate words, then things take a completely different turn and one begins to really wonder.
Timi Dakolo a Nigeria singer who emerged winner of idol in 2007 just couldn’ control himself, hence used very strong hate words on his fan who adviced him to mourn his friend Eric Arubayi who passed on earlier this month.
Lets have fun coming from Dakolo while the Nigerian music industry is still struggling to come to terms with the untimely death of Eric Arubayi, a very good friend of Dakolo who allegedly died as a result of expired medication he took for malaria fever.
Well looks like its a normal stuff with Celebrity social media fights, which happens on a daily basis, where Stars fight, or feud with their fans on social media to the extent of deleting or blocking one another.
Now who do we blame?
Do we blame the fan who innocently advises a celebrity or the celebrity who feels above and beyond?
Late Eric Arubayi was laid to rest barely 24 hours when all this happened. We pray he rest in peace.
