Social media tension is rising as popular Nigerian TikToker Jarvis has threatened to take legal action against fellow creator Peller over what he described as false and damaging money-laundering allegations.
The controversy began after Peller allegedly made a viral post accusing Jarvis of engaging in financial crimes — a claim Jarvis has strongly denied. In a recent video shared on his official TikTok account, Jarvis said the accusations were not only “baseless” but also a deliberate attempt to tarnish his image and brand reputation.
“My lawyers have been briefed. This defamation won’t go unchallenged,” Jarvis stated, warning Peller and others spreading the claims to retract their statements or face full legal consequences.
The online feud has since drawn wide attention across social media platforms, with fans divided between both influencers. Legal experts say if Jarvis proceeds, the case could test defamation laws in Nigeria’s digital space, where online reputation battles are becoming increasingly common.
