Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North Senatorial District, has accused a group he described as a “pull-down-Ned syndicate” of attempting to exploit his wife Regina Daniels’ situation to blackmail and discredit him.
In a statement released on Saturday, Nwoko alleged that certain political rivals and online agitators were behind the recent wave of reports suggesting that he and the Nollywood actress were facing marital issues.
He dismissed the rumors as part of a coordinated effort to tarnish his reputation ahead of what he called “critical political developments” in Delta State and beyond.
“This is not about my family; it is a desperate political move by those threatened by my growing influence,” Nwoko stated.
The senator also urged the public to disregard the stories circulating on social media, insisting that his marriage remains strong and that Regina Daniels continues to support his legislative and philanthropic pursuits.
He warned that those spreading falsehoods to create chaos within his home and mislead the public would face legal consequences.
