A UK secondary school has officially banned the singing and performance of songs by the popular K-Pop group Demon Hunters, citing concerns over the group’s themes and the growing influence of their music on students.

According to the school management, the decision followed repeated observations of students chanting the lyrics during classes and assemblies, causing distractions and raising questions about the moral impact of the content. The school stated that the songs promote ideas that conflict with the values they aim to instill in learners, prompting the need for an immediate ban.
Parents have reacted differently to the announcement. While some support the move as a step toward safeguarding children from content they consider inappropriate, others believe the ban is unnecessary and argues that K-Pop is simply entertainment. Students, however, expressed disappointment, saying the policy is too strict and unfair to fans of the genre.
Teachers have been directed to enforce the ban with immediate effect, including confiscating lyrics, materials, or any related items. The school added that the decision will remain in place pending further review.
