Reactions has continued to trail the unspeakable sum of money discovered recently with a former director of NNPC.
Andrew Yakubu is labelled a big thief by many as EFCC recovered separate staggering sums of $9,772,800 and £74,000 from the former Group Managing Director of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
The cash was recovered from a fire proof safe hidden in a mud-like house belonging to Yakubu in Sabon Tasha, Kaduna state.
On February 8, 2017, Mr. Yakubu reported to the Commission’s Zonal office in Kano and made a statement in which he admitted ownership of the recovered money, claiming it was a gift from unnamed persons.
Reactions from some Nigerian who are sad with the level of corruption in the mist of hunger in many homes.
Why wouldn’t the country be in recession and scarcity of dollars
