Mixed reactions as deposed Emir of Kano, Sanusi, welcomes baby girl with his 4th wife, Saadatu, While many have taken to social media to congratulate the former Emir, some others have criticized him.
The dethroned former Emir of Kano, Lamido Sanusi, has welcomed a baby girl with his 4th wife Saadatu Barkindo Mustapha and he has interestingly christened her with the name of his first wife, Sadiya.
Saadatu Barkindo Mustapha an indigene of Adamawa state, got married to the dethroned Emir of Kano Sanusi Lamido Sanusi II on September 25, 2015.
She was 28 and the action sparked a controversy back then.
HRH has three other wives, namely (first wife) Sadiya, daughter of the late emir of Kano, Ado Bayero, Maryam and Rukayya. Which makes HRH Saadatu Barkindo the fourth wife to HRH Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.
