President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has renewed the appointment of Brigadier-General Mohammed Buba Marwa (Rtd) as the Chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), securing him another five-year term.
Marwa has been widely praised for his performance at the agency, with officials commending his leadership, discipline, and significant drug enforcement achievements.
Advocacy groups like HURIWA have also lauded Marwa’s tenure, calling it “record-breaking” and transformative compared to his predecessors.
