Mr.Sam Galadima the Plateau State Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development is dead.
Galadima who was 64 slumped while doing his monthly physical exercise for Government officials at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium, Jos.
He was said to have been rushed to the Plateau State Specialist Hospital where he was confirmed died.
An eye witness who spoke on condition of anonymity said that “we were there for the exercise and he did not run much.
Shortly before the Governor came in, he slumped, the next thing we heard is that he had given up.”
Governor Simon Lalong had introduced the monthly physical exercise for members of the State Executive Council and other Government appointees to make them keep fit to carry out their responsibilities and the late Commissioner was there to observe the exercise with his colleagues.
Meanwhile, in a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Rufus Bature, Governor Simon Lalong, has declared three days of mourning beginning from Wednesday to Friday.
