Nigerian fintech giant Paystack has suspended its co-founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Ezra Olubi, following recent allegations of sexual misconduct circulating online.

In a statement released today, the company said the suspension is a temporary administrative action pending an internal review. Paystack emphasized its commitment to maintaining a safe, accountable, and transparent workplace culture.
The allegations—which surfaced across multiple social platforms—have triggered widespread reactions within Nigeria’s tech and startup ecosystem. While details remain unverified, Paystack stated that it is taking the matter seriously and will follow due process in its investigation.
