Tragedy again struck at the Otedola bridge, close to Berger area in Lagos, as a tanker collided with a fully loaded commercial bus, which left one person dead and seven others injured.

This caused a heavy traffic that stretched beyond the state Secretariat in Alausa.
The accident which involved 10 vehicles rammed into each other.
The accident which happened inwards Berger on the bridge along Lagos-Ibadan expressway involved a high capacity bus (LAGBUS), a truck carrying a container, a pickup van, and saloon cars.
According to eyewitness accounts, the accident was caused by the driver of the LAGBUS, who was said to have been driving recklessly when he swerved and rammed into the white pick up van.
With the impact of the crash, other drivers that were also on speed rammed their vehicles into the high capacity bus, the truck, and the van.
