The Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church, David Abioye, has accused Nigerian leaders of turning a blind eye to the ongoing persecution and mass killings of Christians in parts of the country.

Speaking during a church service on Sunday, Bishop Abioye lamented that hundreds of Nigerians are being buried weekly, yet the government continues to downplay the scale of the tragedy.
He described the silence of national leaders and international bodies as “a grave injustice and a stain on humanity,” calling for urgent intervention and accountability to protect vulnerable communities.
Bishop Abioye urged Christians across Nigeria to remain steadfast in faith and to speak out against injustice, insisting that “truth will always outlive oppression.”
