Nigeria Kidn@pped My Former Employee” — Binance Founder Zhao Speaks Amid U.S. Tension Over Christian Att@cks

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) has reignited controversy over Nigeria’s handling of his company’s executives, accusing the government of effectively “kidn@pping” one of his former employees earlier this year.

Zhao made the remarks while reacting to online discussions claiming that the United States was allegedly preparing for military action in response to persistent att@cks on Christians in Nigeria.

“Nigeria kidnaped my former employee. I wouldn’t be surprised by anything anymore,” Zhao wrote on social media, referencing the earlier detention of Tigran Gambaryan, a Binance executive held in Abuja.

His comments have stirred widespread debate, with many Nigerians revisiting the tense standoff between Binance and the Federal Government, which had accused the cryptocurrency giant of economic sabotage and tax violations.

While U.S. officials have not confirmed any plans of intervention, Zhao’s statement adds a new layer to the already strained diplomatic atmosphere between Nigeria and foreign investors.

The Nigerian government has yet to respond to Zhao’s latest remark.
