A pregnant’ young model has been struck and killed by a train while allegedly posing for photos on the tracks.
Fredzania Thompson was hit by the massive vehicle at a spot where two train tracks meet in Texas, US, it is claimed.
The 19-year-old, who was engaged, was posing for images at the site in a bid to launch a modelling career, her family say.
In a final snap, captured just before she died, she was seen beaming at the camera in a black outfit and high heels.
Fredzania was apparently pregnant at the time of her tragic death.
Her distraught fiancé, Darnell Chatman, told The Eagle newspaper that she called him around a fortnight ago, crying tears of happiness.
“She said, ‘You’re going to be a dad again,'” he said.
Fredzania was standing between the two sets of tracks, belonging to BNSF and Union Pacific, before she was killed, officials say.
She was reportedly watching a train approach on the BNSF tracks, unaware that a Union Pacific vehicle was also heading towards her.
In an attempt to avoid the BNSF train, she attempted to cross the Union Pacific tracks – but was hit by the other vehicle, witnesses claim.
The teenager – who apparently put her education on hold to pursue her modelling dreams – was rushed to a local hospital.
But sadly, she died before she arrived.
She leaves behind Darnell and her devastated family, including her mum, Hakamie Stevenson, and five younger brothers and sisters.
