Investigation is ongoing to the killing of an Hausa truck driver by an unidentified police officer in Akute area of Ogun State.
The killing led to pandemonium and a mob went berserk and burnt a police squad car.
The policemen riding the vehicle were accused of killing an innocent Hausa truck driver. A video of the burning squad car has gone viral online.
The man who filmed the incident could be heard saying the policemen were attached to the Ajuwon Police Station.
“They killed an aboki (Hausa word for friend, usually used to refer to Hausa folks in the Southwest), they burnt their car,” the narrator said. “Police wey suppose dey protect us, they just they kill us.”
