Legendary Actress Diane Keaton Dies at 79

Hollywood is mourning the loss of iconic actress Diane Keaton, who passed away at the age of 79, a family spokesperson has confirmed.

Keaton, best known for her Oscar-winning performance in Annie Hall (1977), built a career spanning more than five decades. She also starred in The Godfather trilogy, Father of the Bride, The First Wives Club, and Something’s Gotta Give.

 

The cause of death has not been disclosed, and her family has asked for privacy during this difficult time.

She earned the Academy Award for Best Actress for Annie Hall, alongside Golden Globes and a BAFTA throughout her career.

 

Keaton was revered for her distinctive screen presence, fashion sense, and roles that blended vulnerability, strength, and wit.

 

Her final screen performance was in the 2024 film Summer Camp.
