South African influencer Leshaan Dagama has finally addressed the controversy surrounding a viral private jet video that has sparked intense reactions across Nigeria.
The clip, which surfaced online earlier this week, appears to show former Edo State governor and current Edo North senator, Adams Oshiomhole, aboard a luxury aircraft, seemingly giving a foot massage to a woman many social media users believe is Dagama. The intimate setting quickly ignited public outrage, with critics accusing political leaders of flaunting wealth while Nigerians grapple with economic hardship and soaring living costs.
As the backlash grew, Oshiomhole moved to distance himself from the footage.
Speaking through his media aide, the senator dismissed the video as fabricated, claiming it was generated using artificial intelligence.
He alleged that the clip was part of a deliberate attempt to damage his reputation or possibly blackmail him.
Dagama, however, has pushed back against the wave of criticism directed at her. Taking to her Instagram Stories, the influencer made it clear that she would not accept responsibility for the public anger stirred by the video. She urged Nigerians to hold their elected official accountable instead.
“Your senator is the problem, go be mad at him not me,” she wrote.
Notably, Dagama neither confirmed nor denied that she was the woman featured in the footage.

She also declined to provide details about the private flight or clarify the nature of her relationship with Oshiomhole, leaving many questions unanswered as the debate continues online.
