A mother of two identified as Ifunanya Arah-Okonkwo has died following a long battle with Leukemia, an illness she fought so hard so she could live and raise her boys.
Below is Ifunanya mum’s comment copied from her wall.
We lost my beautiful, kind, and gentle daughter Ifunanya Arah-Okonkwo to this dreadful and merciless illness – Leukemia. She fought so valiantly to live and raise her boys, but it was not to be so.
If prayers could have saved Ifunanya, she would be with us today because friends, family and even non – acquaintances were storming heaven day and night on her behalf. If it was money and a decent hospital, you all provided the means. So, it must have been beyond us all.
We wish to extend our deep appreciation to you all, my friends, known and unknown, for your contributions in cash, prayers, encouragement etc. You made us strong and filled us with hope that all would be well, and INDEED IT IS WELL.
With all my heart I wish I could have given you better news.
Thank you for making it possible for us to do all we did to save our baby. Wherever she is, she has the assurance that she is loved.
God bless you.
