Controversial activist Verydarkman (VDM) has finally spoken out after his heated altercation with entertainer Mr Jollof aboard a Nigeria Airlines flight went viral.
In a video released hours after the clash, VDM admitted he “acted irresponsibly” and apologised to the public for allowing the confrontation to escalate in a public space.
VDM explained that while he felt provoked, his behavior did not reflect the standard he expects from himself. He added that celebrities and influencers should set better examples, especially in sensitive environments like airplanes where safety and decorum are critical.
The incident, which saw both men exchange harsh words before crew members intervened, sparked major reactions online, with many Nigerians calling for an investigation into the disruption.
VDM’s apology comes as attempts are being made to calm tensions between both parties, though Mr Jollof is yet to issue a formal response.
