The founder and CEO of defunct Sosoliso Airline, Victor Ikwuemesi, is dead, following a brief illness and after he tested positive for COVID-19.
He died in a London hospital where he was admitted after brief illness on Saturday 11th April, 2020 for being sick and was tested for COVID-19, and the result came out positive this morning.
He was in ICU on oxygen. But when the oxygen was removed for him to eat he couldn’t breath on his own.
So they put him on a ventilator and he died shortly after.
Ikwuemesi and Sosoliso are remembered for a fatal crash on December 10, 2005, where 108 people, mostly students of Loyola Jesuit College in Abuja, died while landing at the Port Harcourt airport.
May his soul rest in peace
