FG to Reintegrate Over One Million Out-of-School Children into Nigeria’s Education System — Minister Tunji Alausa

The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced a major education initiative aimed at bringing over one million out-of-school children back into the classroom.

The Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, made this known on Friday, noting that the move is part of the government’s broader strategy to ensure inclusive and equitable access to quality education across all states.

According to Alausa, the reintegration program will prioritize vulnerable communities, particularly in the northern regions, while also strengthening existing structures for basic and secondary education.

“No child should be left behind. Education remains the foundation for national development, and this administration is committed to ensuring every Nigerian child has access to learning opportunities,” he stated.

The Minister further disclosed that the initiative would be implemented in partnership with state governments, development partners, and civil society organizations, ensuring sustainability and measurable impact.
