Nigerians woke up on Wednesday, February 6, to see that something like a petrol had been added to a fire by a Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai and everyone is talking.
While everyone is pushing for a violence-free election, the governor appears to be on a solo lane.
Was he quoted to have said that ‘anyone that will come an intervene in the case of Nigeria would go back in body bags’.

Outrage has trailed this comment that appears to have promoted violent more than unity of purpose, even though no one can categorically say who it was targeted at.
More worrisome is the fact that this comment is coming on a day that Governor El Rufai also assured prospective investors that his administration would continue to provide an enabling environment for their businesses.
Channels Television reported that the governor gave the assurance at a town hall meeting with the organised private sector and business membership Organisations in the state, in partnership with the Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KACCIMA).

It this is a case of offering a largess with one hand and then holding a gun in the other hand?

This El-Rufai man is a violent, murderous thug. He is always threatening murder & violence against political opponents. Thank goodness he became a governor, which has afforded us the opportunity to know him. Imagine this man with his homicidal tendencies as Nigeria's president! https://t.co/xjUXAAvRl0

Nasiru El-Rufai isn’t stupid. When he threatened the International Community with the Body Bag line, he was referring to this. He knows his audience, and that kind of rhetoric should be a thing of the past. We should be talking Unity now. #AtikuWillWin because #AtikuMeansUnity pic.twitter.com/DW9QZ3zY06

The threat by Gov. El-Rufai that foreign powers that interfere in our elections would go back in “body bags” is troubling & sickening. Are we in a jungle here? Are we murderers? We must stop “leaders” who think they have the right to say & do anything. @elrufai Represent us well!

2-@elrufai’s exact words were “we are waiting for the person that will come and intervene, they will go back in body bags.” Shocking as his words may be, this is vintage El-Rufai, a man who talks carelessly, especially when he is off his medications ##ElrufaisSanityIsInDoubt
