The first prosecution witness (PW1), Peter Obumuneme Okoye, has told the Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja that the wife of Jude Chigozie Okoye, former manager and elder brother of music stars Paul and Peter Okoye of P-Square, owns 800,000 shares in Northside Music Limited.

PW1 made this disclosure on Tuesday while testifying before Justice Rahman Oshodi in the ongoing trial of Jude Okoye, according to a statement released by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
During the court proceedings, the witness explained the shareholding structure of Northside Music Limited, stressing that a significant portion of the company’s shares is registered in the name of the defendant’s wife. The testimony forms part of the EFCC’s efforts to establish ownership, control, and financial dealings linked to the company at the center of the case.
The EFCC is prosecuting Jude Okoye over alleged financial and corporate infractions connected to the management of Northside Music Limited, a company previously associated with the business affairs of the defunct P-Square music group. The trial has continued to attract public attention due to the high-profile nature of the individuals involved.
Justice Oshodi subsequently adjourned the matter to allow the continuation of testimony and further examination of evidence presented by the prosecution.
