The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is expected to charge the immediate past Minister of Labour and Productivity and former Anambra State governor, Dr. Chris Ngige, to court today.

Although the full details of the charges have not yet been released, sources within the anti-graft agency suggest that the case is connected to ongoing investigations involving the management of public funds during his tenure. The EFCC has reportedly concluded preliminary findings and is preparing to file the case before a Federal High Court.
Ngige, who previously served as governor of Anambra State and later as Labour Minister under the Buhari administration, has not publicly commented on the matter.
The development has triggered widespread public interest, especially as Nigerians continue to call for greater accountability among political office holders.
More updates are expected as the EFCC proceeds with the court filing.
