Nigerian disc jockey Michael Babatunde Adeyinka, widely known as DJ Tunez, has spoken out about his recent clash with Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy, describing the incident as a physical altercation.

The situation drew significant attention after a video surfaced online showing both entertainers engaged in a heated scuffle, triggering widespread reactions across social media.
Taking to his account on X, DJ Tunez alleged that the confrontation involved multiple individuals and claimed he was caught off guard.
Attack From Behind
According to him, Burna Boy allegedly struck him from behind, which escalated the situation.
He further stated that despite being outnumbered, he defended himself during the incident, insisting he did not back down.
In the aftermath, the Nigerian DJ Association released a statement via Instagram, calling for calm and professionalism within the entertainment space.
The group emphasised the importance of mutual respect among DJs and artists at events.
The association also disclosed that it had placed a temporary restriction on Burna Boy’s music among its members while a review of the incident is carried out.
