Dino Melaye,the Senator representing Kogi West,involved in fake certificate scandal has taken to the social media to mock his critics after the Vice-Chancellor of the Ahmadu Bello University testified that he graduated from the university.
Melaye was caught up in a certificate scandal after online news platform Sahara Reporters claimed he did not graduate.
But after several twists to the scandal resulting in an investigation by the Senate and a N5bn suit against SR, ABU’s VC told the Senate Ethics Committee that Melaye indeed graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Geography with 3rd class.
But when asked when he graduated, Dino Melaye said he graduated in the year 2000.
Where is your original certificate?
I have not had time in 17 years to pick it up. But how do we know you graduated? Vice Chancellor will come and show that I graduated.
Where is your NYSC picture? Dino posted a picture without uniform.
But when the Vice Chancellor gets to the Senate. He confirm that Dino graduated.
Said Dino used to bear a different name then. He was known as Daniel Melaye.
Asked when and why did you change your name?
Dino replied, i swear I changed my name and I have an affidavit to show it.
But Journalist Sowore went further to shows list of graduating students in the year 2000, and Dino’s name wasn’t there.
Why is your name not here? My name is not there? It appears to me that something is not right in the whole saga.
Even though Dino has being cleared events surrounding his clearance looks like an abracadabra.
But guess time will tell.
