Following series of deaths as a result of accidents and crashes by dangote trucks in Nigeria, the Group has commenced a training program for its truck drivers at the company’s Obajana cement plant in Kogi State.
According to the management, the initiative is aimed at improving safety standards, enhancing driving skills, and ensuring greater efficiency in the transportation of cement products across the country. The program also includes modules on road safety, vehicle maintenance, and customer service.
Dangote officials say the training underscores the company’s commitment to reducing accidents involving heavy-duty trucks and promoting professionalism among its drivers.
