Nigerians starting from Monday, will begin to enjoy free fuel distribution alongside a significant price slash of the product to N841 per litre.
This good news was announced by the Dangote Group spokesman, Anthony Chiejina, who disclosed that the scheme would start with the South West, the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Kwara, Delta, Rivers and Edo States.

This initiative is part of a wider effort to ease the burden of rising energy costs on Nigerians and to showcase the capacity of the newly operational Dangote Refinery, which has been touted as Africa’s largest.
The free fuel distribution exercise will kick off at selected filling stations in Lagos, with plans to expand to other states in the coming weeks.
Industry observers say the move could disrupt Nigeria’s downstream oil sector, forcing competitors to reconsider current pump prices.
The development comes as the government and citizens continue to grapple with inflation and the high cost of living, making cheaper petrol a relief for consumers.
