The 28-year-old artist, whose real name is Charles Chibueze Chukwu, began the unexpected online outburst with a message that mixed praise and confusion.

In one post, he referred to Mavin founder Don Jazzy as a close ally, writing in slang-filled excitement that the producer was “my boy,” while questioning critics who might suggest otherwise.

However, the tone quickly shifted. In subsequent tweets, Crayon directed sharp accusations at Tega Oghenejobo, the label’s chief operating officer, calling him a “highest criminal” in a message filled with exclamation marks.

Life Under Mavin

Crayon, a Lagos-born singer who joined Blowtime Entertainment—an imprint under Mavin Records—in May 2019, escalated the situation further by suggesting the label itself was in trouble.

In another tweet, he wrote that “Mavin is going down,” hinting at deep frustrations with the organization that helped launch his career.

The singer also made a startling remark about fellow Mavin star Rema, implying a rift between the two artists.

In the post, Crayon claimed that the younger superstar had taken something that belonged to him, declaring that there would be no collaboration between them for the foreseeable future.

Crayon Shares New Booking Info

Despite the dramatic posts, it remains unclear whether the singer’s X account may have been compromised.

Crayon has continued to post normally on Instagram without indicating that his account was hacked or that the tweets were unauthorized.

Adding to the speculation, the singer shared information about what appears to be a new venture called Olodum Entertainment.

He posted a new booking contact—[Bookings@olodument.co.uk](mailto:Bookings@olodument.co.uk)—suggesting a possible shift away from Mavin Records.

Further fueling the rumors, Crayon’s recently released single “Baami” is reportedly distributed under the Olodum Entertainment imprint and does not feature the usual Mavin branding associated with his previous releases.

In another post, the artist even called on creatives to design a flag for the new label, promising an eye-catching reward for the best concept. “Any weird creatives that can come with OLODUM ENT flags gets 500M naira cash,” he wrote in an enthusiastic message to fans and designers.
