Dr Tafida Abubakar Ila II, the Emir of Rano, in Kano, has been buried, with concerns as no social distancing rule was observed, amid coronavirus pandemic.
The emir died on Saturday at Nassarwa Specialist Hospital after undisclosed illness.
Although details of the illness were not disclosed, the monarch’s death occurred amid rising mass deaths in Kano, some of which have been linked to the coronavirus pandemic.
However, the burial was attended by thousands of indigenes with no social distancing observed.
This has further raised concerns, that the whole country is sitting on a time bomb waiting to explode.
This is coupled with recent mysterious deaths in the state.
