Nigerian comedian, actor and content creator Samuel Perry, widely known as Broda Shaggi, has reportedly been hospitalised after sustaining a gunshot injury during a skit production.

According to reports, the incident occurred on Sunday afternoon around the Sango-Ota area of Sango-Ota in Ogun State.
Although the exact circumstances surrounding the shooting remain uncertain, a security source disclosed that the entertainer was injured while filming a comedy skit at a location under the Sango-Ota bridge.
The source explained that members of his production team quickly moved him to Blooming Care Hospital in the Alakuko area of Lagos, where he received immediate medical attention.
According to the source, medical staff at the hospital provided first aid treatment shortly after his arrival.
Further findings revealed that the comedian was later transferred to Duchess Hospital in Ikeja, where he is currently recovering.
Police Confirm Incident
Confirming the development, spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, Abimbola Adebisi, said authorities were alerted by the hospital after the injured entertainer was brought in for treatment.
She explained that police detectives and a patrol team were immediately dispatched to the medical facility, where they discovered that the victim was the popular skit maker known as Broda Shaggi.
According to Adebisi, the comedian was found lying on a stretcher with a gunshot wound to his thigh.
She noted, however, that the shooting reportedly happened in Sango-Ota, which falls outside the jurisdiction of the Lagos command, adding that inquiries are ongoing.
Meanwhile, when contacted for clarification, spokesperson for the Ogun State Police Command, Oluseyi Babaseyi, stated that the alleged incident had not yet been formally reported to authorities in the state.

He added that although the shooting was said to have taken place in Ogun State, the police had not received an official complaint regarding the matter.
