Kwara State has suffered yet another security breach as at least 11 residents of Isapa, a community near Eruku in the Ekiti Local Government Area, were abducted by suspected bandits in a late-night attack.

According to local reports, the victims include a pregnant woman, her children, and several other residents, marking yet another disturbing escalation in the region’s insecurity. The attackers were said to have invaded the community shooting sporadically before whisking the victims away into the surrounding forest.
Community members described the incident as terrifying, saying the repeated attacks are leaving residents in constant fear and forcing many to flee their homes. Security operatives are reportedly working to track the abductors, though there is no official confirmation yet on rescue efforts.
The latest kidnapping adds to the rising wave of bandit violence across several parts of Nigeria, intensifying calls for stronger security measures and government intervention.
