Baby Choji Wang was just five weeks old, innocent and helpless, when tragedy struck inside his mother’s room, at Zat village in Ropp District of Barkin- Ladi, local government area in Plateau State.
An unknown person tried to roast the baby, leaving him with an extensive burn that disfigures his face and also cost him an eye.
The perpetrator of this evil act is said to be at large.
Recounting the horrific experience, Patience Wang, the child’s mother, shuddered visibly.
The baby is now nine months old, but too early in life to be a victim of man’s gross cruelty.
