The Nigeria Police has again rescued another victim who tried committing sucide today.
The undisclosed man was prevented from jumping into the lagoon in Lagos State.
This is coming after several attempt from many others who were also saved.
Reactions are now beginning to trail the countless suicide attempts after Dr Allwell Orji who plunged into the third mainland lagoon killing himself.
A facebook user wrote, I am beginning to suspect these lagoon suicide attempts. why are they now trying to jump in front of the police? The bridge is 11.8 kilometers so there must be a place where they can jump without being seen. IF YOU WANT TO JUMP, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, JUMP and stop this Nollywood!
Not funny though, because times are hard and many families could bearly feed nor pay their bills.
Mainwhile the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has told Nigerians to blame President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration for the recent suicide deaths and suicide attempts in the country.
In a statement on its official twitter handle, @OfficialPDP, the party said, “Nigerians should hold APC Nigeria and Muhammadu Buhari government responsible for the rampant suicide and suicide attempts.
“The failure of APC Nigeria led government to provide basic amenities and revive the ailing economy has forced Nigerians to commit suicide.
