It’s now official that Ex-Oyo State Governor Abiola Ajimobi is not dead but his condition is critical as he’s slowly responding to treatment, battling complications for Covid-19
However there was intense anxiety on Thursday evening over his state with reports trending on social media, claiming he was dead.
But his daughter said her father was alive and people should stop playing politics with his life.
He has been receiving treatment at the First Cardiologist Consultant in Ikoyi, Lagos,he’s alive, though slowly responding to treatment.
This is contrary to reports that he had died from complications arising from COVID-19.
Recall, Ajimobi is at the centre of the resolution of the crisis rocking APC because is currently the APC NWC-recognised National Chairman.
He was named acting Chairman of the party following the suspension of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole while the National Vice Chairman, South-south, Hilliard Etta, is acting on his behalf.
He was a former Senator, and governed Oyo State for eight years.
And also was a former Managing Director at the National Oil and Chemical Marketing Company, a subsidiary of Shell Petroleum company.
