Eight lawmakers representing Kano State in the House of Representatives have officially defected from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The announcement was made on Tuesday during plenary, which was presided over by the Speaker of the House, Tajudeen Abbas.
