2Baba Says Nigeria Is Better Now Than Before Despite Challenges

Speaking during an interview on Wazobia TV, the veteran artist reflected on how some of the themes from his earlier track “E Be Like Say” still resonate with current political realities.

Despite this, he maintained that progress is evident when viewed over a longer period.

Addressing questions about his political involvement, 2Baba revealed that he had once participated in a campaign in a capacity that required neutrality.

However, he emphasised that his approach going forward would be more personal and purpose-driven, focusing on contributing to national growth in his own way.

The award-winning singer also spoke about his sense of responsibility as a public figure, noting that he actively promotes a positive image of Nigeria wherever he goes.

Describing himself as a “self-appointed ambassador,” he expressed his commitment to representing the country with pride on the global stage.
