The Pensioners are worried that the governor, ifeayi Okowa, might have used their money to Fund Atiku’s Campaign.
The use of taxpayers’ funds and collective resources of Deltans to fund personal political ambitions is unacceptable, callous and inhuman.
The All Progressives Congress Gubernatorial Campaign Organisation in Delta has warned Delta Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa “not to use Delta State funds to finance Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s campaign and other political activities”.
Recall that the presidential flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, recently named Delta State Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, as his running mate ahead of the 2023 general elections
The statement which was issued on Friday by the APC Governorship campaign organisation’s Director of Communications and Media Strategy, Ima Niboro.
