Police Inspector in viral video has been arrested and is been tried for extortion of 40k from a motorist.
The attention of the Lagos State Police Command was drawn to the video which has been trending on social media in which the Inspector was captured counting #40,000 he extorted from the owner
The inspector, whose name tag, in the video as ‘Taloju Martins’, was seen to be counting N1000 notes said to be 40 pieces.
The money was a ‘ransom’ paid by an unidentified motorist to free his vehicle.
