Aisha Buhari Advices Artists To Use Dramatic Talent Advocate Unity, Peace.

The wife of Nigerian President, Mrs Aisha Buhari, has called on Nigerian artistes to use their talent and popularity to mobilise its citizens to ensure tolerance, peace and unity among the diverse ethnic groups in Nigeria.
 
Mrs Buhari made the call in Abuja during the launch of a Hausa musical album titled “Sakamakon Chanji’’ which literarily means the benefits of change.
 
The musical album is a collection of songs, put together by the Northern Nigerian Musical Artistes to showcase the achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari.
 
“I wish to use this opportunity to call on artistes to use their talent and popularity to mobilise Nigerians towards unity, peace, tolerance and productivity. 
 
“You are also expected to speak of the vices that destroy us like drug abuse, human trafficking and child abuse.
 
“I invited you all to recognise, celebrate and honour you today because your contributions   to the success of this administration cannot be quantified.’’
 
She also expressed gratitude to the artistes for their continued support to President Buhari through their various musical displays and urged them to sing for good governance and the overall development of Nigeria.
 
Mrs Buhari assured the artistes of her commitment to support them to ensure effective advocacy against all forms of abuse, particularly, women and child abuse.
 
She also urged them to use their dramatic talent to sensitise Nigerians on the need to propagate messages of selfless service to humanity.
  
Mrs Buhari also presented awards to some musical artistes who participated in the Sakamakon Chanji musical album.
