Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State is allegedly to be critically ill and may be flown abroad for proper medical check up.
A source at the Government House, Owerri disclosed that the Governor developed the signs on Monday, during inspection of an ultra modern motor park in Owerri.
According to him, after the governor’s entourage got to the scene of the project, he alighted from his vehicle and went around to know the extent of the job, adding that after inspection and granting of interview, Governor Okorocha collapsed to the chagrin of those with him.
Adding further, the source maintained that having waited on him, his security details rushed him to the Government House clinic for first aid.
He further hinted that at the Government clinic, one Dr. Uzoma Anwuka placed the Governor on intensive diagnosis and check ups, and later discovered he suffered neourone vascular cadiac arrest, which according to him could lead to surgery, to resuscitate him.
The source further expressed reservation that Governor Okorocha’s health situation was unconnected with the outcome of the just concluded APC congresses where he was said to have been schemed out by the Allied Forces.
