Madam Joyce Antwi a business woman hired an assassin to kill her business partner to avoid paying back the sum of money she borrowed.
According to reports, Joyce Antwi borrowed N7 million from her business partner to enable her expand her business.
She hired a man she thought was an assassin for N365, 000 to kill the business partner, and paid an advance fee of N150,000 to the man and showed him the house of her business partner.
Promising to pay the balance as soon as the job was done.
She then advised him to carry out the killing in the afternoon when her business partner’s husband and children would not be at home.
The contracted “assassin” then reported Madam Antwi to the police and she was swiftly arrested.
She is said to have admitted to the crime in her statement in Ashanti Region.
