Supreet Kaur an Indian TV presenter who
breaked the news of her husband’s death in a car accident is been praised as “extremely brave” after she read out the news bulletins.
The presenter read out the news after a reporter phoned in details of a fatal accident, which had killed three of the five people travelling in a Renault Duster.
It was only after the news hour, when she walked out of the TV studio, that she reportedly broke down, realising her husband was likely to be one of those killed as he was meant to travel in a Renault Duster along the same route and at the same time with four companions,
One of her colleagues who spoke said, “She is an extremely brave lady. We are proud of her as an anchor, but what happened today has left us in shock.”
